Fado Dinner Show & Porto Night Tour

This was a great way to see the Douro river valley and taste wine without needing to stay overnight. The tour is much better with a small group, tour guide was fantastic, and it's really well planned out/coordinated. It didn't feel like we were rushed around, and each part of the tour was amazing. The wineries they chose were beautiful smaller producers. Tastings were excellent. The lunch was amazing. And the river boat ride is something I'm really glad I didn't miss. You get plentiful wine on this trip. Each tasting was very generous and there was local wine at lunch as well.

I love small group tours where the guide is knowledgeable about the history of the areas that we are visiting, and this was the case with Paulo. We had a great time visiting Braga and Guimarães. Both churches we visited were spectacular and the castle was impressive from the outside (due a strike on the day we were unable to tour the inside of the castle but we did not feel like we missed out too much). The walk up the stairs to the view point and church in Braga was well worth it, you are given an option to walk up or you can be driven to the view point. The lunch we had in Braga was beautiful and if you can please try the local pastries in Guimarães. I would highly recommend this tour.

Another 5 star review! Great experience with Rodrigo as our guide. We had a small group (only 2 couples) and Rodrigo was the best! Learned a lot about Porto, Douro Valley, and wine in general in Portugal. Pick up and drop off were easy, wine was good, food was good! What else can you ask for? Recommend eating some food ahead of time, as wine pours are quite generous!
