After being declared a ‘Clean & Safe’ establishment by the the Portuguese Tourism Bureau (Turismo de Portugal), COOLTOUR OPORTO took all necessary steps to safeguard the safety and comfort of our customers.

We prepared a whole set of cleaning measures and protocols defined by Turismo de Portugal and in agreement with the Directorate-General for Health so that you feel safe and in good hands during our tours.

Here are the measures COOLTOUR OPORTO took from June 2020:

Vehicles

Cleaning and washing every day.

Interior: vacuum cleaning (upholstery, carpets, and rugs); cleaning and disinfecting of the whole interior including windows and dashboard.

Exterior: Shampoo application, mosquito removal and vehicle washing including windows, rims, and door rails.

Installations Cleaning

Daily cleaning and disinfection inside the office, bathrooms and common areas.

Office staff with masks and trained by the ‘Clean & Safe’ webinar / training certified by Portugal Tourism Bureau.

During Our Tours

Mandatory mask use (in closed spaces: inside the minivan and monuments).

Reduction of the maximum allowed capacity according to current legislation and General Health Directorate recommendations. This allows greater distance between passengers.

Alcohol gel or disinfectant available in the van.

Additionally, all our guides wear face masks and will provide hand disinfectant inside the van whenever requested.

Also, please be aware that our guides can deny participation on the tour or entrance in the van to anyone who shows symptoms of illness or does not carry and wear a mask.

For everyone’s safety, please take the necessary precautions and use common sense. Wash your hands often, use hand sanitizer throughout the day, keep a safe distance between yourself and others and use the inside of your elbow or a tissue for sneezing and coughing.

Have a pleasant tour!
